New rooms, expanded lore, and a zero-G combat system that’s been substantially improved give returning players genuine surprises.
Isaac Clarke is now voiced and given more character, his relationship with Nicole better developed. The new side mission content that explains the Ishimura’s fate is excellent.
Necromorphs are still the gold standard of horror enemy design: they require strategic dismemberment, they’re fast, and the sounds they make will follow you.
